Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved 10 proposals of seven departments.
The proposals of Health & Family Welfare, Steel & Mines, Water Resources, Works, General Administration & Public Grievance, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, and Revenue & Disaster Management departments have been approved at the 16th meeting of the State Cabinet held on Thursday.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed about the Cabinet decisions in the Assembly today.
The Cabinet has approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (& G-JAY) in the state. As many as 3.46 crore members of over 1.3 Crore families will be covered under the schemes. The state cabinet approved expenditures amounting Rs 27019 crore for the PM-JAY & G-JAY schemes in coming five years from 2025-26 to 2029-30.
The Cabinet also approved the proposal to change the District Mineral Foundation Rules and Odisha State Road Policy among others.
