Odisha Cabinet Approves Bid for Direct International Flights from Bhubaneswar to Dubai, Singapore and Bangkok

Bhubaneswar: In a significant move that will further propel Odisha’s tourism potential, the State Cabinet today approved the bid of Indigo Airlines for direct International flight services from Bhubaneswar to Singapore, Dubai and Bangkok.

Besides, the Cabinet, in its meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has given its not 16 other proposals. It also approved increase in grant-in-aid period of upper primary school teachers and extension of the period of aided private high schools in the state.

The new government policy for promotion of MSME and creation of a special fund for enhancing production of potatoes, vegetables and spices was also approved.
