Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of iconic radio presenter Ameen Sayani.
“Deeply saddened to know about the passing away of iconic radio presenter Ameen Sayani. Best known for the popular show ‘Binaca Geet Mala’, Sayani captivated audience for decades with his distinctive voice. His engaging style of radio presentation will continue to evoke nostalgia and resonate with listeners forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family & friends”, the CM wrote on ‘X’ handle.

Ameen Sayani’s voice is synonymous with the golden era of Indian radio. Sayani had a great sense of humour and was an excellent communicator and storyteller. He was 91 at the time of his death.
