Odisha CM Condoles Demise of Union Minister Suresh Angadi

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi, who passed this evening due to COVID-19.

“Deeply saddened to learn about passing away of Union Minister of State for Railways, Sri Suresh Angadi. My thoughts & prayers are with the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace”, the Odisha CM wrote on his Twitter post.

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced that the national flag will be flown at half mast tomorrow as tribute to the deceased Union Minister.

Angadi passed away due to Covid-19 infection on Wednesday, two weeks after being diagnosed with COVID-19. He was 65.
