Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed grief over the death of a jawan in Maoist attack in Malkangiri district on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, Naveen condoled the martyrdom of Jayaram Kabasi, a District Voluntary Force (DVF) jawan, in Maoist attack in Malkangiri.

Kabasi was killed in the exchange of fire between the ultras and jawans atop hill at Bonda Ghat in the district. Another jawan sustained injuries in the combat operation in the forest.
A top Maoist leader identified as Rakesh Sodhi who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 8 lakh over his head was also killed in the firing.
