Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of of Eid-ul-Fitr.
“May the spirit of Eid bring happiness and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and amity in the society”, the CM tweeted.
Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, was celebrated with joy and fervor across Odisha.
Muslims across the state came out of their homes to offer special Eid congregational thanksgiving prayers marking culmination of the 30 days of fasting. After offering Namaaz, they hugged each other with greetings of ‘Eid Mubarak’.
