Odisha CM Greets People on Viswakarma Puja

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Viswakarma Puja.

The CM took to Twitter to extend his warm greetings to the people.

Vishwakarma Jayanti is being celebrated across the State today. Vishwakarma is considered as swayambhu and creator of the world. He constructed the holy city of Dwarka where Krishna ruled, the Maya Sabha of the Pandavas, and was the creator of many fabulous weapons for the gods.
Vishwakarma is also called the divine carpenter, is mentioned in the Rig Veda, and is credited with Sthapatya Veda, the science of mechanics and architecture.
