Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his deep grief over the loss of lives in the tragic fire accident in a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar in Tamil Nadu.
“Deeply saddened to know about the loss of lives in the tragic fire accident in a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families in the hour of grief and pray for the speedy recovery of those who have sustained injuries”, the Odisha CM tweeted.

At least 11 persons are feared dead and more than 20 injured in a blast at a private fireworks factory at Achankulam village near Sattur in Virudhunagar district on Friday, according to media reports.
