Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s most popular Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ranked among the top 10 influential persons in India, according to a latest survey conducted by Fame India magazine.
The longest serving Chief Minister has been ranked 10 in the Fame India’s 50 Influential Indians 2020 list.
Naveen, five-time CM and an invincible mass leader since 2000, is the third Chief Minister to be ranked in the top 10 list.
Under the leadership of Naveen, Odisha has emerged as a role model state in many spheres, such as disaster management, poverty alleviation, socio-economic development and hosting major sporting events.
Kerala CM P Vijayan and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath are other CM to have featured in the list, which was topped by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vijayan occupies the sixth position and Yogi Adityanath the second position.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah stands third in the list. Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani are fourth and fifth respectively.
The survey of ’50 influential people 2020 ‘of Fame India magazine and Asia post has carried the opinions of more than twelve thousand enlightened people on nine criteria, such as personality, influence, foresight, image, developmental style and public welfare efforts.
Influential people related to politics, bureaucracy, spirituality, medicine and science, journalism, social service, cooperative, industry and business, art, acting etc. have also been included in this survey.
