Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday as the newly elected members of the 16th Odisha Assembly will take oath on the same day.
As leader of the House the Chief Minister will remain present during the occasion. So he is unable to visit Delhi on Thursday to attend the swearing in ceremony of the Prime Minister and his council of ministers, a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
The Odisha CM has conveyed good wishes to Modi and his council of ministers.
