CM Announces to Transform Hirakud into International Tourist Destination
Sambalpur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik offered prayers at Maa Samaleswari temple here on Tuesday.
After visiting the famous shrine, the Chief Minister said that steps will be taken for the development of the temple and other amenities for the devotees.
An expert team will soon visit the site to assess the requirements of the temple and devotees. Based on the detailed report by the team, the State Government will take further steps, Naveen said.
The CM also announced to transform Hirakud Dam into an international tourist spot with water sports, garden and convention centre and landscaping.
