Odisha CM Pays Humble Tributes to Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Chandra Shekhar Azad on Birth Anniversary

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today paid his humble tributes to great freedom fighters Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Chandra Shekhar Azad on their birth anniversary.

The Chief Minister recalled the contributions of Tilak and Azad to the country’s freedom movement.

In a Twitter post, CM Naveen Patnaik wrote, “Humble tributes to legendary freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his birth anniversary. He was one of the earliest and most vocal proponents of Swaraj and Swadeshi. He will always be remembered for his unparalleled contribution to freedom movement”.

Paying tributes to Chandra Shekhar Azad, the CM expressed that Azad’s devotion to the motherland, unwavering commitment to freedom struggle, bravery, and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.

“Humble tributes to revolutionary freedom fighter and youth icon Chandra Shekhar Azad on his birth anniversary. His devotion to the motherland, unwavering commitment to freedom struggle, bravery, and sacrifice continue to inspire generations”, the CM tweeted.
