Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the preparedness for the Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
Chairing a high level meeting through video conferencing, Naveen took stock of the preparations for the smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra, Suna Vesha, Adhara Pana and Niladri Vije rituals of the holy Trinity.
The CM thanked the servitors, Puri district administration, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), police, health department and the people of Puri for their cooperation for the smooth conduct of the Gundicha Yatra of Lord Jagannath following the guidelines of the Supreme Court.
Naveen appealed all to cooperate in similar way for the Bahuda Yatra.
Naveen also emphasized on the timely completion of all rituals of the deities involving the sevayats, who tested negative for Coronavirus.
He also urged the officials to intensify awareness about COVID-19 in Puri town and scale up the testing.
