Bhubaneswar: Blood donation is the biggest gift one can offer to save life of others, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister urged everyone to come forward to participate in the noble cause like Jiban Bindu and donate blood regularly to help save precious lives.
“Blood Donation is the biggest gift one can offer to save life of others. Urge everyone to come forward to participate in the noble cause like Jiban Bindu and donate blood regularly to help save precious lives”, Naveen said.
The National Voluntary Blood Donation Day is observed in India on October 1 to spread awareness about the importance of donating blood.
