Odisha CM Wishes Quick Recovery to Indian Hockey Players Who Tested COVID Positive

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has wished quick recovery to five Indian national hockey players including captain Manpreet Singh who tested positive for coronavirus disease.

The CM said that he was deeply concerned to know that five of Hockey India players including captain Manpreet Singh were hospitalized after being tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to twitter, Naveen, who is an ardent fan of hockey, wished the players quick recovery and prayed for their good health.
“Deeply concerned to know that five of @The Hockey India players including captain @manpreetpawar07 are hospitalised after being tested positive for #COVID19. Wishing them quick recovery and praying for their good health”, the Odisha CM tweeted.

The players tested positive on Friday after returning to the national hockey camp at the Sports Authority of India’s National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) in Bengaluru following a month-long break.
