Cuttack: Statistical Officer of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Biswanath Lenka today died of Coronavirus while undergoing treatment at a hospital here in the city.
He was under treatment for the last 15 days.
After his demise, his body was taken to Satichoura crematorium for his last rites. CMC officials including Commissioner Ananya Das and other staff paid tribute to the departed soul at the crematorium.

Several prominent personalities, Housing and Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena, Cuttack-Barabati MLA Mohammed Moquim expressed condolence over his demise.
