Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik on Thursday campaigned for his party candidates in Chandabali under Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency.
The BJD supreme thanked the massive gathering of people in Chandabli.
In a public meeting, the Chief Minister sought feedbacks of the people on the implementation of various social welfare schemes of his government, such as BSKY, Mission Shakti, Mamata, LAccMI Bus, 5T School Transformation, Students’ Scholarship, KALIA, Madhubabu Pension Yojana, Ration Card, Puri Temple project etc.
All questions were answered enthusiastically by the public.
The Chief Minister reiterated that electricity bills will not come from July. The BJD government will provide free electricity, everyone will get BSK Y card, Mission Shakti mothers will get pension. Are you happy? The Chief Minister asked. The people answered ‘yes’ with joy and applause.
Is Naveen Patnaik good? The people got very emotional at the question and responded ‘very good’ in one voice.
Once again the targeting the opposition, the BJD President said that the opposition leaders are spreading lies and shedding crocodiles tears for Odisha.
The Chief Minister called upon the people to bless the BJD MP and MLA candidates in the elections.
Addressing the gathering, senior BJD leader Kartik Pandian said, with the blessings of Mahaprabhu and Baba Akhandalamani, Naveen Patnaik will once again take oath as Chief Minister on June 9. After taking oath, the first order of the CM will be waiver of electricity bills for all. Everyone will get BSKY card on his second order. The third order will provide pension for Mission Shakti members after the age of 60 years. Nua-O scholarships for college students will also be increased. Boys will get Rs 12,000 instead of Rs 9,000 and girls will get Rs 14,000 instead of Rs 10,000. No state in the country has made such a scheme for the students, the senior BJD leader said.
