Odisha Elections 2024: Naveen Campaigns in Nayagarh, Seeks Support for BJD

Nayagarh: Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday campaigned for his candidates in Nayagarh under the Puri Lok Sabha constituency.
Addressing a public meeting, Naveen requested the people to bless both BJD MP and MLA candidates with massive number of votes in the elections.

Taking a jibe at the opposition, the BJD supremo said that the opposition leaders are spreading lies and shedding crocodile tears for Odisha.

The Chief Minister asked the people about the benefits of various welfare schemes, such as BSKY, Mission Shakti, Mamata, LAccMI Bus, 5T School Transformation, Students’ Scholarship, KALIA and Madhubabu Pension Yojana. He further asked, “Is Naveen Patnaik good? The people replied ‘yes’ enthusiastically.

The BJD government will provide free electricity from July. So electricity bill will not come, are you happy? Are the projects works of Jagannath temple and Maa Samalei good? The Chief Minister asked. The crowded responded very positively on the questions.

Speaking on the occasion, senior BJD leader and 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has a huge investment plan for Nayagarh, which will witness massive industrial development. The youth will be employed and empowered, he said.
The Chief Minister has many plans for the development of the middle class in the 2024 election manifesto. All middle class will be included in BSKY. Interest rates will be lower for housing loans up to Rs 20 lakh. Interest rates will also be low on education loans. All these steps will be taken for building a new Odisha. Till date no political party has done anything for the betterment of the middle class, the BJD star campaigner said.
