Odisha Extends Lockdown till April 30

Educational Institutions to Be Closed till June 17th

Bhubaneswar: The important meeting of the Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today decided to request the Center to extend the lockdown imposed for another fifteen days keeping in view the alarming situation.

The meeting which was held through Video Conferencing from the Lokseva Bhawan, also approved on 9 other important issues. The cabinet also decided that all the educational institutions in the state will be closed till June17th.

The State Cabinet Meeting was held through video conferencing in which five senior ministers were present in the Lokseva Bhawan along with the Chief Minister and others participated from their respective constituencies through VC.

Ministers Padmanabha Behera, Prafulla Mallick, Pratap Jena and Ranendra Pratap Swain were present in the Lokseva Bhawan.
