Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today announced that it
would provide pucca houses for those families whose houses were were completely
or substantially damaged during cyclone FANI.
“All families whose houses are completely or substantially damaged due to
extremely severe cyclone “FANI” will be sanctioned pucca houses”,
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said.
The house damage assessment will begin from May 15 and will be completed
within a week, the CM said.
In all the extremely severely affected blocks, senior officers will be
appointed to supervise the assessment process. Work order distribution to the
beneficiaries will begin from June 1, Naveen added.
“I assure that all out efforts will be put so that not a single eligible person
will be left out,” the CM said.
