Cuttack: The Odisha Government has allowed registration of new vehicles throughout the State from June 17.
The State Transport Authority (STA) has permitted registration of new vehicles by vehicle dealers in VAHAN portal from June 17 as the Government allows sale and service of automobiles.
In an order to all Regional Transport Officers (RTOs), the Office of Transport Commissioner cum Chairman of STA has instructed them to allow the dealers to have access to VAHAN portal for registration of new motor vehicles from June 17 until further orders.
The instruction comes after the Government announced unlock measures to restart the economy after imposing a stringent lockdown to prevent spread of second wave of COVID-19.
