Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has asked the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) and other major temples of State under Endowment to prepare plan for action for reopening of temples by adhering to COVID-19 regulations.
This has been informed by State Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy.
“The State Government has directed temple administration of Puri and other major temples of State under Endowment to prepare plan of action for opening temples for worshippers adhering to Covid regulations”, the Chief Secretary said.
Respective Collectors will submit report after consultation with all stake holders in next 10 days, he added.
The temples in Odisha remain closed for the devotes since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in the State.
