Odisha Govt Discontinues Incentives to Manpower for COVID Related Activities

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has discontinued the incentives to different categories of manpower for COVID-19 related activities.

The decision has been taken as the WHO has declared that COVID-19 is no longer a global health emergency.

“In view of the WHO declaring that Covid-19 is no longer a global health emergency, and considering the declining trend of the COVID cases and negligible hospitalisations in the State and all over the Country, Government after careful consideration have been pleased to discontinue the incentives to different categories of manpower for COVID related activities as issued vide different Notifications of this Department”, the Health and Family Welfare Department said in an official notification.
