Bhubaneswar: In view of the pandemic situation, the Odisha government has exempted road tax for vehicles carrying oxygen in tankers or cylinders to hospitals and COVID Care Centres in the State.
The Works Department has issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
“Keeping in view the current pandemic situation, Works Department has exempted the toll tax at various toll plazas under the state government for the vehicles carrying medical oxygen in tankers or cylinders in order to facilitate smooth supply of medical oxygen to different hospitals and COVID Care Centres of the State till 31.07.2021,” the notification reads.
