Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today announced the extension of the summer vacation in schools across the State till June 25.
Considering the prevailing heat wave conditions in several parts of the State, the School and Mass Education Department decided to extend the holidays for the schools.
“Considering the prevailing heatwave conditions we have decided to extend the holidays for all schools upto June 25,” School and Mass Education Department Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra said.
As per the previous announcement, the vacation was supposed to come to an end on June 19.
