Odisha Govt Flexes Muscles against Coronavirus, Appoints Four Officers for Containment

Bhubaneswar: Stepping up its efforts to contain spreading of deadly Coronavirus, the Odisha Government today appointed as many as four senior officers as Officer on Special Duty in Health and Family Welfare Department. 

These officers will work in enforcement of ‘The Odisha COVID-19 Regulations, 2020′ till March 31.

These officers are Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, CGM, OMFED, Bhubaneswar; P. Anvesha Reddy, ED, OMC Ltd., Bhubaneswar; Patil Ashish Ishwar, ED, GRIDCO, Bhubaneswar and Divakara T.S., OSD, OCAC, Bhubaneswar.

The Health & Family Welfare Department of the Odisha Government has issued various regulations in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Notably, the Odisha Government has already announced COVID-19 as State Disaster and already approved approved the regulations namely ‘COVID-19 Odisha Regulations, 2020’.
