Bhubaneswar: Amid rising cases of COVID-19, the Odisha Government today doubled the coronavirus quarantine period from the existing 14 days to 28 in order to curb the spread of the virus.
A person will have to go for institutional quarantine for 21 days and home quarantine for the remaining 7 days, said an official statement.
Strong action will be taken against those violating the quarantine norms.
Notably, Odisha reported 246 COVID-19 positive cases so far.
