Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government is planning to introduce a new programme ‘School Certification Programme’ in all the state-run schools from this academic session to recognise and reward schools for quality education.
This has been informed by Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) State Project Director Jyoti Prakash Das here today.
Under the initiative, the schools will be awarded if students are able to achieve grade-level competencies, the official said.
To achieve this objective, schools can nominate themselves to be certified and an assessment will be conducted by a team to assess and certify schools for the purpose, he added.
