Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has started seeking suggestions from the people for the preparation of the annual budget for 2019-2020 fiscal.
The Finance Department has invited suggestions from the public for the preparation of the yearly budget. It has developed a special web portal ‘www.budget.odisha.gov.in’ where suggestions can be submitted, an official release said.
In addition to it, the suggestions can also be mailed at [email protected]. The people can also send their suggestions to the Department through Whatsapp, Telegram and SMS to Mobile number (+91)9438161111.
The facility will be available from June 4 to 15, the Finance Department said.
Notably, the Odisha Government has been seeking suggestions from the public for the past three financial years in order to make the budgetary process more open and participative using Information and Communication Technology, the statement added.
