Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has intensified efforts to combat the ongoing heatwave, implementing several measures to safeguard public health.
The Health & Family Welfare Department has instructed all medical facilities statewide to stay vigilant and prepared for heat-related illnesses.
To manage potential heatstroke cases, district hospitals have designated six specialized beds, sub-divisional hospitals have allocated four beds each, and Community Health Centres (CHCs) have reserved two beds for heatstroke patients.
