Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to step up COVID-19 vaccination of elderly people to one lakh per day.
In a letter to all district Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, CDMOs and PHOs, the Health and Family Welfare Department has asked them to accelerate the pace of vaccination of elderly persons in their respective areas.
The government has urged the Collectors to enhance the pace of vaccination with special focus on activating private hospitals as Covid Vaccination Centres.
