Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has waived off Motor Vehicle (MV) tax for the private bus operators and buses of all Educational Institutions in the State for the month of August and September.
This has been informed by the Commerce & Transport Department on Monday.
The decision was taken as the bus services have been affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, the State Government had relaxed the MV tax for the bus operators for the month of July.
