Odisha Guv Congratulates Commissioner of Police for Successfully Arresting Prime Accused in 1999 Heinous Crime

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal has congratulated Sudhansu Sarangi, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Twin City Commissionerate and his team for successfully arresting the prime accused in a heinous crime of the year 1999 after 22 years.

The Governor has written a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Pantnaik in this regard.

“It gives me immense pleasure to note that Odisha Police under the leadership of Dr. Sudhansu Sarangi, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Twin City Commissionerate has been successful in arresting one of the prime accused in a heinous crime which occurred 22 years back in a sensational case in the year 1999. It has brought laurel to the State Police for their dedication and commitment to the profession. There is a need to recognise such outstanding performers in a befitting manner which will inspire others in a great way”, the letter reads.
