Odisha Introduces Weightage for Implementing 5T and Mo Sarkar Initiatives In Annual Performance Appraisal Report
Bhubaneswar: In order to further give a boost to implementation of 5T and Mo Sarkar Initiatives, the Odisha Government has decided to accord weightage for both the initiatives in the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports of the government employees.
According to a government order notified Friday, “The Government has already decided to accord 20 percent weightage to performance of government employees in implementation of 5-T components. Out of the allotted weightage of 20 percent for 5T Charter, 5 percent will be assigned in respect of performance under Mo Sarkar initiative. This will be applicable to the employees of the departments which are implementing the Mo Sarkar Initiative.”
Weightage for implementation of 5T Charter will be given to both the All India Service (AIS) officers and state government officers alike. For All India Service employees, out of an overall numerical assessment of 10, a value of two would be assigned with respect to the performance of an officer for implementing 5T and Mo Sarkar initiative.
While One mark has been assigned for implementation of 5T Charter of their own departments, 0.5 mark each for implementing the Charter of the government and Mo Sarkar.
For State Government employees, 10 percent weightage has been given for implementation of 5T Charter of their respective Departments while 5 percent each is given for the implementation of 5T Charter of Government and Mo Sarkar.
The government of Odisha has implemented the Mo Sarkar initiative in two important departments i.e., Hospitals and Police Stations to take the feedback of common citizens. The government intends to implement this in five other departments by December 1st and all the departments by March 2020.
