Bhubaneswar: The evaluation of answer sheets of the matriculation examination began today across the state.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has engaged as many as 11,800 teachers for the evaluation process. The evaluation centres have been equipped with advanced security systems, including CCTV cameras, to prevent any malpractices.
The Board has also appointed a camp officer, a chief observer, two deputy observers, and two supervisors at each evaluation centre. More than 300 data entry operators have been engaged to upload the marks online. Every day, after the evaluation, the marks will be uploaded online.
The BSE has taken several measures to ensure the smooth and fair evaluation process.
A total of 5,22,336 students registered for the matric examination this year, but over 15,000 students were absent.
