Bhubaneswar: The Odisha MLAs from different parties will meet President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 3.
As per reports, an Assembly Committee comprising 26 MLAs from different parties, including 15 BJD MLAs, six BJP MLAs and three Congress members will leave for Delhi tomorrow to meet the President and felicitate her.
The committee will be led by Assembly Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha.
The MLAs will undergo Covid RT-PCR tests before meeting the President. Only those whose reports are negative will go to Delhi, reports added.
Notably, the Legislative Assembly recently passed a unanimous resolution congratulating Droupadi Murmu, the daughter of Odisha, for holding the highest office in the country.
