Bhubaneswar: Setting a milestone in social service, Odisha Mo-Parivar has collected over 1 lakh units of blood in 10 months to meet blood shortage amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the State.

BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the commitment and dedication of the Odisha Mo-Parivar towards social service.

In response to Naveen’s clarion call for social service, Odisha Mo Parivar, the social service wing of the ruling Biju Janata Dal, has been organizing mega blood donation camps in different parts of the State under its Jeevan Bindu program in order to meet the shortage of blood amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program has now turned into a ‘People’s Movement’ in Odisha, achieving the goal of ensuring that no needy person is deprived of the life-saving blood in the State.
