Bhubaneswar: Odisha has become the leading State in the country in the production of mushrooms and lemons.
This has been informed by Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo in the Odisha Assembly on Wednesday.
Odisha is the number two State in brinjal production. It is fourth largest state in producing surplus rice in the country.
Odisha exports 700 metric tonnes of rice to foreign countries. The government has set the target of exporting 1000 metric tonnes of rice in future, the Minister said.
