Bhubaneswar: The State Election Commission (SEC) Odisha has issued revised guidelines for counting of votes of the three-tier Panchayat elections.
As per the revised guidelines, all persons entering the counting centres should be thermally scanned.
The SEC said that only double vaccinated persons will be allowed inside the counting centres. Those showing COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed inside the centres, it added.
The counting will be held between February 26 and 28.
Meanwhile, Odisha will go to the polls in the fourth phase of the panchayat elections tomorrow.
