Odisha Panchayat Elections: State Election Commission Calls for All-Party Meeting Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Election Commission has called for an all-party meeting tomorrow ahead of Panchayat elections in the State.

State Election Commissioner Aditya Prasad Padhi is expected to meet representatives of all political parties tomorrow to discuss about the modalities of the polls.

The Panchayat elections are likely to be conducted in February next year.

Earlier, the State Government had finalized the modalities for reservation of seats and offices of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) to be filled by direct election.
