Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Panchayat Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 has been introduced in the State Assembly today.
The amendment of Odisha Panchayat Laws is required to keep the electoral reservations within 50% in the panchayati raj institutions.
The passage of this Bill, which provides reservation ceiling at 50%, will pave the way for conducting the Panchayat elections in the State.
The Odisha Municipal Laws (amendment) Bill, 2021 was introduced in the Assembly on Monday.
