Odisha Panchayat Polls: BJD Organizational Secretary Condemns Attack on Media Persons in Binjharpur

Bhubaneswar: BJD Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das has strongly condemned the attack on media persons in Binjharpur block in Jajpur district during the third phase of Panchayat elections on Sunday.

ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବିଞ୍ଝାରପୁରରେ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ଆକ୍ରମଣ ଘଟଣାର ଦୃଢ଼ ନିନ୍ଦା କରୁଛି। ଗଣତନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ହିଂସାର କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନ ନାହିଁ। ଏପରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ପୋଲିସ ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କଠୋର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ।

As per reports, three media persons were allegedly assaulted in Jajpur district.

The journalists from an electronic media house were attacked by unidentified miscreants while they were going to cover the alleged loot of ballot boxes from two booths at Bachala Panchayat under Binjharpur block in the district, reports stated.
