Bhubaneswar: Odisha vigilance officials have apprehended Under Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 30,000 from a owner of computer firm for releasing bill for supply of 10 computers.
The Under Secretary has been identified as Poorna Chandra Sahoo.
In this connection, a case has been registered against Sahoo at Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S. Simultaneous searches launched at his residential and official locations in Bhubaneswar, the Vigilance said.
