Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded 69.34 percent voter turnout in the 2nd phase voting held yesterday. As per information from the ECI, the highest voter turnout was recorded in Bargarh Lok Sabha Constituency and lowest at 60.78 in Aska Lok Sabha Constituency. Bolangir, Kandhamal and Sundargarh saw 71.46, 70.37 and 67.74 percent polling respectively. Among the Assembly constituencies Sonepur recorded the highest voting of 81.23 percent and Hinjili recorded the lowest at 58.21 percent voting.
Five Lok Sabha Constituencies i.e., Bargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Aska and Sundargarh went for polling in the 2nd phase of elections in Odisha. Likewise, 35 assembly constituencies under these Parliamentary constituencies also went for voting in the simultaneous elections. In the 1st phase voting held on 13th May 2024, the voter turnout was recorded at more than 74 percent.
