Odisha Records Highest Single Day Covid-19 Toll with 14 Deaths

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in the State has jumped to 2,043 on Friday with 14 more  people succumbing to the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

It is the highest single day death count so far.

Regret to inform the demise of 14 numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals, informed health department.

A 74-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

A 52-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Hypothyroidism.

A 78-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

A 60-year-old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

A 52-year-old male of Koraput district.

A 60-year-old female of Koraput district who was also suffering from Hypertension with Chronic Kidney Disease.

A 56-year-old male of Koraput district.

A 45-year-old male of Nabarangapur district.
A 48-year-old female of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

A 41-year-old female of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
A 30-year-old male of Sambalpur district.

A 60-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
A 16-year-old female of Sundargarh district.
A 65-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
