Bhubaneswar: Continuing it’s growing trend in tune with the country, Odisha has reported 1059 new Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours. Of the total new cases, 872 belong to the 0-18 years age group. While 5833 cases are from quarantine, 4226 are local contacts.
Khordha district has reported the maximum number of positive cases at 3188 followed by Sundargarh, Cuttack, Sambalpur and Mayurbhanj with 1348, 870, 570 and 423 cases respectively.
The number of active cases in the state has reached 44349 with 1101606 total infections. In the last 24 hours, Odisha reported 949 recoveries and the total umber of recoveries stood at 1048732.
