Bhubaneswar: Taking a step further in adapting digital technology, the Government of Odisha today rolled out the E-receipt 2.0 module. The new initiative will help payment of government taxes and dues through card, UPI, QR code and wallets. Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra launched the e-Receipt 2.0 model at the Loksewa Bhawan today.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on this occasion between the Government of Odisha and Paymant Gateway providers Indian Bank ( Billdesk) and Axis Bank. Additional Secretary Rupanarayan Das signed the MOU on behalf of the Government of Odisha in the presence of Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena, Principal Secretary Finance Vishal Kumar Dev and other senior officials. With this, Indian Bank and Axis Bank have integrated their services with Odisha Treasury portal.
