Odisha Schools Reopen for Classes X & XII Students with COVID-19 Guidelines

Bhubaneswar: After long gap, the schools across Odisha have reopened for the Class X and XII students from today with COVID-19 guidelines.

Both the government and private schools across the State reopened from today.

All necessary arrangements have been put in place in accordance with Covid guidelines. While all classrooms, furniture, and other areas of the schools have been sanitised, a separate isolation room has been marked in all the schools and kept ready in case any student or staff develops Covid symptoms.

Adequate soap (solid/liquid) and running water have been made available in all washrooms and toilets of the schools. Hand sanitizers have been mandatorily kept for teachers, students and staff in each classroom.

Special seating arrangements have been done inside the classrooms to maintain social distancing while attending classes. Thermal screening of all the teachers, students and staff is being done prior to their entry into the school premises.

The schools will be open five days a week, from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 1.30 pm. However, the online classes will continue for the students.
