Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has set the target to complete the total vaccinations by the end of this year, informed Health Department Director Dr. Bijay Panigrahi today.
So far 1.66 lakh people have taken the first dose of the vaccine and 53 lakh beneficiaries have received the second dose. A total of 54% of the first dose of vaccine has been administered till date. There are 28.54 lakh Covishield doses and 4.54 lakh Covaxin doses are available in the State, he said.
Odisha has already registered 2.20 crore vaccinations till Tuesday.
If vaccines were in stock, the administration of two doses would be completed in the next four months, he added.
The Government has urged the district administrations to give priority to beneficiaries who are yet to receive the second vaccine dose.
