Bhubaneswar: With an aim to fast-track the testing of coronavirus suspects in the State, the Odisha Government is planning to introduce mobile vans to collect samples for testing of COVID-19.
Currently, antigen tests are being conducted in Ganjam district through mobile vans.
There are proposals for the introduction of mobile testing vans in various parts of the State, informed ILS Director Ajay Parida.
The State Government would take a final decision in this regard, he added.
He further said that the State is witnessing the spike in COVID-19 cases. Three districts – Ganjam, Khordha and Cuttack- account for nearly 65% of cases of the State.
